You may have noticed that there has been some digging and planting going on in the Secret Garden behind the Gym. Students from across the school have been enthusiastically digging and planting. Different year levels will be taking responsibility for different parts of the garden. There are seven different spaces - vegies, herbs, sensory plants, natives, succulents, grasses and a strawberry hill.

THANK YOU
- The Taylor family who have made a generous donation by purchasing 28 large potted plants and gave us a bare rooted apple tree for this area.
- Anthony Taylor (and Hayden) who offered his time and equipment to move dirt into garden area.
- Heather Booker (school crossing lady) who has given us a donation of strawberry plants and an apple tree.
- Rachel Witthaus (parent) has offered us strawberry plants for the Foundation area.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
- The caged area will be set up as a space for tools, which will be just for the kids, separate to the maintenance shed. We need help put up brackets to hold the tools.
- A new entrance to the area will be two panels to define the space (similar to picture shown here). We need help to dig holes for the sleepers and to attach the panels to the sleepers.
- We will be adding stones to the secret garden space. We need help to move these stones to the garden area and spread the stones around the area.
We will be working on this space this Monday 1 June starting at 1:45pm – 4pm. Please make contact with Mrs Wembridge Room 12 by phone 97426659 or in person if you can offer your help.
