Review of Program for Students with Disabilities

The review of the Program for Students with Disabilities is the first initiative of the Special Needs Plan. The review focuses on the transition from primary to secondary school and the specific needs of students with autism and dyslexia.

Work commenced in July 2015 and the final report is expected to be delivered to the Education Minister in November 2015.

The Department are now calling on the Victorian community to participate online. This is an opportunity for parents, carers, teachers, principals, specialist and support staff and community members to contribute to the review. There are two ways to participate:

Online contributions are now open and will close at 5pm on 16 October 2015.
