What is Ultraviolet Radiation Ultra-violet (UV) ray are rays that are emitted by the sun. They are divided into three sections: * UVA- which can make skin look older and cause skin cancer. * UVB- which causes sunburn and skin cancer. *UVC- Which is absorbed by the ozone layer so it doesn't reach the earth surface.
