COVID-19 Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,

Yesterday the Victorian Government, with the support of the Chief Health Officer, announed the bringing forward of school holidays in Victoria, commencing from Tuesday 24th March.

This is obviously an unprecendented step in response to our unprecendented circumstances.  I greatly appreciate your support as we navigate as a school through these challenging times.

In response to this information school holidays will now commence on Tuesday 24th March.  However, in line with the Department of Education directive, the exception to this is children of essential service workers (examples of essential services include health, police, corrections and emergency service workers).

From Tuesday 24th March, for all other students, the school holidays have now commenced.

Students who were at school on Monday 23rd March have come home with their personal belongings.  For those not at school, parents or guardians will be able to collect their personal belongings from school this week.  Parents are required to collect all medications from the school.  Collection of belongings/medications from the school can occur between 9:00am and 3:10pm each day, Tuesday - Thursday, and from 9:00am - 12:30pm on Friday.

Staff will work from school or home for the remainder of this week preparing on-line learning programs for students.  We have been advised to prepare these programs in case we need to transition to remote learning from the start of Term 2.

The Victorian Chief Health Officer will advise on whether the transition to remote learning will commence at the beginning of next term, Wednesday 15th April, or whether school will resume.  This advice will be provided close to the 15th of April.

If you are an essential services worker and you require holiday program places for your children due to the State of Emergency, you are requested to contact the school via the school email  The information collected will be used by the Department of Education to determine the level of provision of holiday programs required.  You will also be required to contact Camp Australia.

The first day of Term 2, Tuesday 14th April remains a pupil-free day.

I will continue to inform parents as fruther updates and information are provided.

Stay healthy and safe.
