Students are understanding the concept of living things including animals and the way they live, eat, and develop in a different environment to us (humans).
Under the science subject of the Victorian Curriculum this excursion adheres to the content descriptor of VCSSU042 whereby ‘Living things have a variety of external features and live in different places where their basic needs, including food, water and shelter, are met’.
Requirements
Students will need to bring their small bag containing their lunch box with snack and lunch, water bottle and a jacket in case of inclement weather.
School Uniform is required.
The area is a no rubbish area, meaning students will be required to take their rubbish home with them.
Additional Notes
CSEF (camps, sports and excursion fund) or credits on your account can be used for this excursion. Applications for CSEF can be made at the office by the end of Term 2. If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families.
