We are an inclusive community that strives for excellence
Our values guide the decisions and behaviours of all members of our school community
Something for everyone! Items will cost between $50c and $8. Students will be allocated a time slot on Thursday and they will go to the stall with their teachers in their grades. Please send your child to school with some money and a shopping bag to carry all the goods bought.
Friday will be selling to students who forgot their money on Thursday.Mother’s day Raffle tickets have been distributed. Please check your child’s school bag for raffle tickets.
All books are to be returned to the school by 10 am Friday 10th May. $1.00 per ticket = $5.00 per book.
Please write your name & phone number or your child's name and class on each ticket. The Stitch Don’t Ditch competition is on at the moment. It is about turning pre-loved clothing into fashion. There is a primary school section which is turning pre-loved clothing into toys. We would like to start the ball rolling for next year so have a request for any pre-loved clothing that cannot be reused. So this is the clothing with holes, etc. No underwear, of course and only fabrics that can be easily sewn so not too thick. Please drop this off outside the art room (for students) or at the office (parents). Thanking you in anticipation.

Dear Parents and Carers,
Werribee Primary School is very excited to announce that our breakfast club will be starting up again in week three of Term Two!
Breakfast club will be running every Wednesday from 8:35am until 9:15am. We would love your support in running our breakfast club.
As Term 2 commences, schools continue to be able to operate with a largely normal program of activity, enabling important on-site activities to return, such as school open days and working bees, with appropriate health and safety measures in place.
Throughout the pandemic, Victorian schools have rapidly and successfully adapted to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, embedding COVIDSafe principles by reinforcing good behaviours, creating safe spaces, adapting activities, and responding quickly to COVID-19 risk.
While we have seen outbreaks emerge in Victoria, we have also witnessed our capacity to respond quickly to limit the impact of these outbreaks.
Given the current very low risk of COVID-19 transmission in the community, continued high rates of testing and wastewater monitoring, and continued observance of health and safety measures in schools; those with medical vulnerabilities or their carers can feel reassured to continue to safely work and learn on school sites, and enjoy the benefits of doing so.
It is crucial, however, for everyone to remain vigilant by staying home when unwell, performing regular hand hygiene, wearing a mask when required, and maintaining physical distancing from others when practical.
Should cases of COVID-19 increase again in the community, I am confident that with COVIDSafe plans in place, alongside our ability to quickly identify and respond to cases, schools remain safe places for all staff and students. I also continue to be reassured by evidence that children are less impacted by the virus and are less likely to develop severe illness.
The school community continues to have an important role to promote COVID-19 testing when a student or staff member has any symptoms, no matter how mild, and ensuring they remain home until they are well. Getting tested and staying home until results are known is critical to limiting community transmission.

We are proud to partner with Camp Australia to provide our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program.
Camp Australia – Guiding Children’s Growth
Camp Australia programs are centred on child enrichment, while ensuring a reliable, engaging and hassle-free OSHC service at our school. Their engaged educators foster a safe, inclusive environment where children can relax, have fun and grow.
There is zero cost to register for before and after school care with Camp Australia. This would ensure that Camp Australia have your child’s/children's details and therefore they could be easily booked into outside school hours care when required or in an emergency.
There is no supervision at school before 8.30am or after 3.20pm. Students are not to be at school outside of these hours as there is no supervision available.
We encourage all families to sign up by clicking here.
Your OSHC – OSHC that inspires
Your OSHC is Camp Australia’s before school, after school and pupil free day program, tailored to the likes and interests of each child in service. Camp Australia’s educators design enriching experiences to inspire your children’s confidence, independence and imagination. In any one week, they could be participating in science experiments, active play, creative expression and more - they believe in learning through experience so that each child can grow.
