We are an inclusive community that strives for excellence
Our values guide the decisions and behaviours of all members of our school community

To kick off our fun year at Werribee Primary School, School Council have approved our first fun fundraising day. To celebrate the end of summer Werribee Friends have organised a Beach Theme Causal Dress Day.
For a gold coin donation, students are invited to wear their Summer Beach Clothes on Tuesday 28th February. Zooper Doopers will be sold on the day for $1.00. No swimwear, thongs or sandals are to be worn.
Dear Parents/Carers,
Student/Parent/Teacher 3-Way Conversations are scheduled for Week 6 on Tuesday 28th February, Wednesday 1st March, and Thursday 2nd March from 3.30pm to 5.00pm.
The purpose of these meetings is essentially a meet and greet to get to know you and your child and for you to meet the teacher. The conversation bookings are 10 minutes long. You are more than welcome to arrange a different time with your child’s class teacher or specialist teachers to meet and discuss matters as necessary throughout the year.
It is expected that your child is part of these conversations, as it is important that they can talk about themselves and to hear the teacher’s and your expectations.
Student/Parent/Teacher 3 Way Conversations bookings are now open for families to book a suitable time with the classroom teacher using the XUNO Parent Portal. https://werribeeps.xuno.com.au
Once you have logged into the XUNO portal, please follow the below instructions:
If you require further support making a booking, please feel free to contact the Main Office on 9742 6659 or via email at werribee.ps@education.vic.gov.au
We are looking forward to working with you and your child this year.
Thank you,
Werribee Primary School

The Department of Education (DE) allows all government schools to hold four curriculum days per year. Curriculum days are pupil free days which allow the staff to work together on planning and professional development activities. The first day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all government schools to allow for appropriate planning to take place for the arrival of students. School Council has approved the following dates for 2026 as curriculum days:
Tuesday 27th January 2026– first day of Term 1 |
|
| Friday 6th March 2026 - Labour Day Weekend |
|
| Friday 5th June 2026 - King's Birthday Weekend | |
| Monday 13th July 2026 - Day 1 of Term 3 |
The Department of Education (DE) allows all government schools to hold a common professional practice day on the same day for all staff. This is to enable the most effective and efficient use of this day. We have scheduled our professional practice day on the following day. Students will not be required to attend school on this day:
Tuesday 2nd November 2026 (Melbourne Cup Eve)
The STOPIT service enables commuters to use their mobile phone to promptly, easily and discreetly report inappropriate behaviours.
To use the service, commuters simply text ‘STOPIT’ to 0499 455 455. This triggers an automated response that includes a link to where the commuter can provide more details about what’s just happened.
When people report these types of inappropriate behaviours, police can investigate and identify offenders to improve safety on public transport for everyone.
Parents and carers are encouraged to consider discussing the new service with students who travel on public transport. Students who use mobile phones outside of school hours are encouraged to save the STOPIT number in their mobile phone.
Please note, STOPIT is for reporting non-urgent incidents on public transport. Always phone 000 in an emergency.
For more information, refer to sexual and anti-social behaviour on public transport on the Victoria Police website.
Every Victorian child should have access to the world of learning opportunities that exist beyond the classroom. The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities.
It is part of making Victoria the Education State and the Government’s commitment to breaking the link between a student’s financial circumstances and their outcomes.
School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are a part of a healthy curriculum.
CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school excursions, camps and sporting activities.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or support an out of home care student you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid directly to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
HOW TO APPLY
New applicants should contact the school office to obtain a CSEF application form or download from the website below.
If you applied for CSEF at your child's school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year unless there has been a change in your family circumstances.
You only need to complete an application form if any of the following changes have occurred:
Check with the school office if you are unsure.
