We are an inclusive community that strives for excellence
Our values guide the decisions and behaviours of all members of our school community
WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!
Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback.
The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 29 July to Friday 20th September 2024.
All families are invited to participate in the survey.
The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Resources are also available in additional languages to assist parents / caregivers / guardians who speak a language other than English at home. Please reach out to your child’s teacher, or the school directly for survey guides in your language.
Please speak to your child’s teacher if you would like more information.

We’ll be holding our Book Week Parade on Friday, 15th August at 9:15 am due to some students attending camp the following week.
Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character. We can’t wait to see all the creative costumes and share in the joy of reading together!
The theme for this years bookweek is Book an Adventure
We’re excited to be celebrating Book Week from August 18th–22nd with a range of fun and engaging activities happening in classrooms throughout the week.
This hands-on experience will support and enrich the learning we’ve been doing in the classroom by giving students the opportunity to explore how weather and seasonal changes affect our daily lives.
At Scienceworks, students will engage with interactive exhibits and participate in activities that help them better understand weather patterns, the science behind the seasons, and how these natural changes influence our environment, clothing, activities, and even our health.
This excursion is a wonderful opportunity for students to see science in action and make real-world connections to what they’ve been learning at school. We look forward to a fun and educational day!
Requirements:
Students are in full school uniform. Snack and lunch should be brought to school in a clearly labelled plastic bag with your child's name. Please ensure all items are disposable. Lunchboxes are not required on this day.
On June 13th our Grade 6 Boys and Girls Team participated in the AFL 9s Gala Day at Galvin Park Werribee. The weather was perfect and 8 schools from Wyndham were there to compete. Well done to our Girls Team who won on the day and have now progressed to the next round of competition.
A special mention to Imogen Z who was named player of the Tournament.
On Thursday 19th June, five of our students went to the Regional Cross Country at Keilor Park Athletics Track. Congratulations to Penny M, Lucas I, Aiden M, Will M and Charlotte S. The students progressed from House, District and Division Cross Country to be there on the day and have also been training for the lead up of all the events. A special mention to Charlotte S who qualified for the State Final which in amazing effort. Charlotte’s dedication and training each week participating in Local Park Runs and Wyn Fit Running Group has helped her to reach this incredible result. Good luck in the State Final Charlotte.
Well done to Tin H for making the Victorian Under 12s Boys School Soccer State Team. Tin has gone through a challenging process to make this team. Over 600 boys from around the State have started off attempting to qualify. Tin has been through over 4 stages of qualifications and played numerous games that have been filmed to analyze by different coaches. Tin will compete in the State Finals in Ballarat later in the year. Tin has also been invited to train for Melbourne City, Melbourne United and Melbourne Victory. Congratulations and Good Luck!
The Grade 6s are currently training for 7 Division Finals they have had from 2 Gala Days this year. Well done to all the students, teachers and parent coaches for the incredible results.
