Our Colour Run is coming up very quickly on Thursday 11th September from 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Families are warmly invited to come along and cheer on the students as they take part in this fun, colourful event.
While the Colour Run is taking place, sausages will be available for parents and guardians to purchase for $2 each (cash only).
We look forward to seeing our school community come together for an afternoon of fun, colour and plenty of smiles!

How Do We Fundraise?
Fundraising for our school is easy! Simply go to www.myprofilepage.com.au and click the register button to create a cybersafe, online profile page. Once you’ve created a parent account and profile page, you can share that around to family and friends to receive online donations. Please note that this is an online fundraiser only and all cash donations must be converted to an online donation before 11th September.
Receive a prize for your fundraising efforts by simply raising $10 online! At the end of the fundraiser, students can mix and match up to a total of five prizes based on their donations received or they can give back to one of the six causes on offer.

Approval & payment can be made via XUNO by Friday 5th September. The Gruffalo's Child is a theatre show of 55 minutes duration. It is a great opportunity for our students in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 to see a book come to life in a theatre performance. Cost for this event is $10.

Students are able to wear their colour run clothing to the performance.
We would like to let families know that our school will be recognising R U OK? Day on Friday 12th September, as our Colour Run is scheduled for Thursday. To mark the day, students are encouraged to wear something yellow to show support e.g. t-shirt, head band, socks etc.
R U OK? Day is an important reminder to check in on the people around us, start meaningful conversations, and support one another’s mental health and wellbeing. Together, we can help create a caring and connected school community.
There is no gold coin donation required.

Term 3 finishes on Friday 19th September 2025 and all students will be dismissed at 2.10pm. Please make sure your child is collected on time, or alternative care arrangements made.

Scholarships are available for eligible students in Grade 4 to Year 11, and for Year 12 students planning to do tertiary studies in 2026.
The Department of Education administers a number of scholarships that are available to eligible students who are enrolled in Grade 4 to Year 12 in 2025.
Applicants for these scholarships will be evaluated on their:
Scholarships are either one-off payments or cover the duration of the student’s course or annual study.
Many of these scholarships have specific eligibility criteria, so please refer to individual applications for more information. Applications open on Wednesday 1 October 2025 and close on Monday 2 February 2026.

Applications are open for Marrung education scholarships, which provide financial support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to complete years 11 and 12.
This year, there are 30 scholarships of $5,000 each ($2,500 for Year 11 and $2,500 for Year 12).
The scholarships can be used for education-related items, such as school equipment.
Please share this information with eligible students so they can consider applying.
The Marrung education scholarships recognise students who demonstrate high potential to succeed in their chosen pathway. To be eligible, students must be:
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
completing Year 10 at a Victorian government school
planning on completing years 11 and 12 at a Victorian government school.
A selection panel of representatives from the department and the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated will review applications and select successful applicants using the following criteria:
the student’s involvement in the Aboriginal community
Year 10 academic results and school reports
the student’s potential to succeed in a chosen pathway
references from school and community representatives.
To apply, eligible students must complete and submit the Marrung education scholarship application form. Applications close on Friday 5 September 2025.
