Mental Health is on everyone’s lips. There are countless news articles about mental health every year – in fact over the course of a typical day, there are more articles published about mental health than there are about other hot topics like AI, the risk of a recession, and even Taylor Swift!

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you have a valid means-tested concession card, or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. Means-tested concession cards must be valid on the first day of Term 1, 2025 (Tuesday 28 January 2025) or Term 2, 2025 (Tuesday 22 April 2025).

A student aged 16 years and over who is considered a mature minor and holds a valid concession card is also eligible to apply.

Eligible families will receive a payment of $154 per year for primary school students and $256 per year for secondary school students. The funds will be paid directly to the school to be used towards camps, sports and excursion costs for the benefit of your child.

If you applied for CSEF through our school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances.

Term 4 finishes on Friday 20th December 2024 and all students will be dismissed at 1.10pm.  Please make sure your child is collected on time, or alternative care arrangements made.

Werribee Primary School is conducting a Swimming Program for students in Foundation and Year 1. The program will commence in Term 3, Tuesday 12th July and will conclude Tuesday 13th September. The program will be conducted at Paul Sadler Swimland in Werribee. Students will travel to and from the venue by bus. 

Students will attend 10 x 45-minute lessons. Each lesson will be with qualified swimming and water safety instructors.

Please ensure your child is well prepared with:

- Bathers underneath their school uniform
- Towel and fresh pair of underwear
- Thongs or slides to wear to and from the pool
- A bag to put wet clothes in
- Goggles if desired

1S: 11.35am – 12.20pm
1M & OT: 12.20pm – 1.05pm
OP & OG: 1.05pm – 1.50pm
1G: 1.50pm – 2.30pm

Camp Australia – Guiding Children’s Growth

Camp Australia programs are centred on child enrichment, while ensuring a reliable, engaging and hassle-free OSHC service at our school.  Their engaged educators foster a safe, inclusive environment where children can relax, have fun and grow.

There is zero cost to register for before and after school care with Camp Australia.  This would ensure that Camp Australia have your child’s/children's details and therefore they could be easily booked into outside school hours care when required or in an emergency.

There is no supervision at school before 8.30am or after 3.20pm.  Students are not to be at school outside of these hours as there is no supervision available.

Your OSHC is Camp Australia’s before school, after school and pupil free day program, tailored to the likes and interests of each child in service.
