This engaging incursion has been designed to support our learning in Earth and Space Science. Students will take part in a range of exciting, hands-on demonstrations and experiments that encourage curiosity, prediction, and discussion.

The program will include:

•  Exploring gravity and forces to understand how things move on Earth
•  Investigating air and pressure and how invisible forces affect our world
•  Interactive experiments that encourage students to ask questions and think scientifically
•  Opportunities to observe, predict, and explain outcomes
•  A fascinating sublimation experiment (solid changing directly into a gas), similar to how comet tails form in space
•  Experiments showing chemical reactions and physical changes, including exciting demonstrations such as Elephant Toothpaste
•  Learning about warm and cold air movement (convection) and how this helps create weather on Earth

This incursion is a fantastic opportunity for students to see science in action and deepen their understanding through engaging, real-life experiences.
