VU is offering free Ready to Respond sessions on Wednesday, 2nd September at JamWay Community Centre, Point Cook. This is a valuable opportunity to build confidence and first aid skills to respond to emergencies.
The first session will cover recognising and responding to cardiac emergencies for all ages, and the second session, focuses on recognising and managing emergencies involving babies and children including anaphylaxis and choking. Participants can choose to attend one or both sessions running back-to-back, which are designed as standalone but complementary to each other and finish up in time for childcare/school pick up!
