Year 4 Scienceworks - Earth & Space Science Wednesday 17th September
Approval & payment can be made via XUNO by Wednesday 3rd September. As part of our current Investigations Unit: Earth and Space Science, we are excited to announce an upcoming excursion to Scienceworks! This hands-on experience will support and enrich the learning we’ve been doing in the classroom.
Students will learn about:
- About the crucial role that water plays for life here on Earth
- That water can be found in solid, liquid and gaseous forms
- About the planets, moons and dwarf planets in the solar system, and what their environments are like
- About some of the space missions that have allowed humanity to learn about these distant worlds
This excursion is a wonderful opportunity for students to see science in action and make real-world connections to what they’ve been learning at school. We look forward to a fun and educational day!
Cost of this event: $31.00
Requirements:
Students are to wear full school uniform.
Snack and lunch should be brought to school in a clearly labelled plastic bag with your child's name. Please ensure all items are disposable. Lunchboxes are not required on this day.
